Joint BDA/Chamber Transportation Committee Meetings

February 9

The committee meets jointly with the Bellevue Chamber's Transportation committee on the second Tuesday of each month, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Chamber's office at 302 Bellevue Square in Downtown Bellevue.

The Joint Transportation Committee is open to all BDA members interested in transportation issues affecting Downtown Bellevue and the Puget Sound region. From roads to transit and everything in between, this is the place to learn about issues, track measures through the decision and design processes, advocate for transportation adequacy to maintain a healthy business climate, and monitor progress of projects under construction.

Working collaboratively with Chamber members, this group formulates policy statements and recommendations concerning these issues and acts as a regional partner with transportation agencies for improving mobility and reducing congestion. Committee guests include transportation decision-makers from the local to the federal level.

The Light Rail Committee is meeting as needed to promote member understanding and representation in the City's and Sound Transit's routing decision process.
